Is there a monthly minimum or subscription?
No monthly LocalMugs subscription and no platform usage minimum. A location with no eligible completed orders has no LocalMugs usage charge. The $49 cap is a ceiling, not a flat monthly fee.
What is an eligible completed order?
An order whose completed pickup fulfillment has been verified through Square. Drafts, failed payments and canceled or fully refunded orders do not incur the platform fee. Refund reconciliation may produce a later credit or require review.
Is the cap per business or per location?
Per location, per billing month. Each participating location has its own cap. Unused allowance does not transfer between locations.
Does this include Square’s fees?
No. Square processing fees are separate. The LocalMugs cap applies only to the LocalMugs platform fee, not payment processing, taxes, tips or any separate Square service.
Does creating an account start charging me?
No. Account creation does not start automatic collection. This deployment uses test transactions; live activation and the collection arrangement must be completed separately.
Do customers pay a LocalMugs surcharge?
No. The platform fee is merchant-funded. LocalMugs adds no customer platform or convenience fee to the checkout total.
