A clear
starting point.

Before testing

Use an authorized test seller

Connect only a Square Sandbox seller you are authorized to use. Check the selected location before creating a test order.

Use test payment details

Use Square’s documented Sandbox payment methods, not a real card. Payment and order states do not prove a physical ticket printed.

No automatic merchant collection

Fee statements are for reconciliation testing. The proposed monthly cap and final commercial terms are not active agreements.

Production is a separate step

Public ordering, live payments, finalized policies and actual merchant/device acceptance require further explicit approval.
